Create a simple Christmas Wreath
Material Needed:
- 10-inch wire wreath (available at craft stores)
- 108 10-inch lengths of jute
- 3 yard 1 ½-inch calico ribbon
- Wire brush
- Scissors
- Strong comb
Procedure:
- Wind one length of jute around wire wreath.
- Tie on outside edge of wreath using a square knot.
- Continue around wreath until covered with all 108 lengths, pushing jute close together as you proceed.
- Unravel and comb fringe.
- Weave calico ribbon in and out of every 2 strips of jute.
- Tie large bow of calico ribbon to decorate wreath.
Suggestion:
You can also make a miniature wreath made on a curtain ring, which you can use as a tree or table decoration.
